“Somali government controls Hiiraan and Kismaayo?” Somali Treasury Minister says (VIDEO)
Somalia’s fragile transitional government is appealing for international help in its efforts to bring peace to the world’s most fractured nation. Somalia is being torn apart by civil war waged between government troops and Islamist insurgent groups, notably the Al-Shabab. Sir David speaks to the treasury minister Abdirah Omar Osman.
The Minister mentioned in the interview that as of last night Al Shabab were overthrown from Kismayo.
