Weekend Edition Saturday, April 11, 2009 · The standoff between U.S. forces and Somali pirates has moved into its fourth day off the Horn of Africa. The pirates took U.S. Captain Richard Phillips from the American ship on Wednesday, after he thwarted the pirates’ attempt to hijack the vessel. Now the ship is headed to its original destination, the Kenyan port city of Mombasa, while Phillips remains hostage to the pirates.
