Al-Shabab threatens to kill more politicians

Screen shot 2014-08-28 at 12.03.27 AMAl Jazeera — The armed group al-Shabab has vowed to continue to assassinate politicians, as part of its strategy to fight the Somali government.

At least five lawmakers have already been killed this year.

But politicians in Mogadishu say they will not be intimidated by the deaths of their colleagues.

Al Jazeera’s Mohammed Adow reports from the Somali capital.
