Maputo — The border guards of Mozambique have killed at least Somali migrants at the border between Mozambique and Tanzania.

The young Somalis, who ran from the civil war and conflict in Somalia, were on en-route to South Africa where they wanted to get a better life than they had in their country.

Bashi Omar told Shabelle that Mozambique security forces in the border gunned down the Somalis after they suspected them.

No government official has so for commented about the killing of Somali immigrants traveling between Tanzania and Mozambique.
